The immediate catalyst for this project was a journey around Andalusia. I was fascinated by the variety, structure and aesthetic beauty of the wrought-iron balcony railings.This gave me the idea to translate those fluid lines into my work. Without a fixed plan in mind, I started by manipulating, twisting, forging, and turning long wires of gold and silver. My goal was to create jewellery crafted in one rolling, curling line, without interruption, beginning or end.
